State and Federal Government

Workforce Boards across the State of Illinois are supported mainly by funding from the United States Department of Labor.  Funds are granted through the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO).  The State's workforce system is governed by the Illinois Workforce Investment Board, whose members are appointed by the Governor.
